Is there another way to cut a picture in photoshop other than using introvert and adding a layer mask? I forgot what the next step was supposed to be after adding a layer mask. Photoshop is confusing to me, I'm very inexperienced with computers.

What are you trying to do? Are you trying to remove the bottom white space & url? Use polygonal lasso and outline that part. Then delete. Or erase. Or use the magic wand and delete

Do you have adobe bridge? It lets you move things from 1 app to the other

Use adobe bridge it'll let you move a project from one adobe app to the other. Do you know how to use it tho

You could also just save your PSD project and export it as a different file type that's compatible for indesign and open it on indesign.
