Can someone check a question for me plz?

Ballery1:

Ballery1:

Did i simplify too much???

NAGC:

was it asking for simplest form?

Ballery1:

Bro, differentiation

Ballery1:

At the end, i was suppose to rap things up and simplify.....i was saying in that regard.

NAGC:

ohh ok

Narad:

Eveerything is ok up to line 6, that's the answer, you do not need further simplification

Ballery1:

Any particular reason tho?

Ballery1:

Why cant i simplify both the numerator and the denominator?

Narad:

Normally, when differentiate fractions, the denominator remains as a square

Ballery1:

Ohhh i didnt know thanks bro

Narad:

The simplification in line 8 is not right.

Ballery1:

Where i crossed a bunch of things from the numerator and the denominator??

Narad:

yes

Ballery1:

I cant simplify like that? :/

Narad:

Yes

mhchen:

Yeah you can't simplify the last step like that cause they're being added, not multiplied.

mhchen:

Imagine this: \[\frac{3}{5}=\frac{3}{3+2}=\frac{1}{2}\]

mhchen:

You could try doing polynomial division if you want to try simplifying it further. i don't know if it'll work.

tyson:

yeah thats what i would say

Ballery1:

Thanks guys :)
