@Vocaloid @dude

dude:

Do you know the relationship in same side exterior angles?

Nicole:

No im not sure

dude:

They are supplementary

Ultrilliam:

A straight line side is equal to 180 degrees, (half a circle), to find the other measure subtract 105 from 180

Nicole:

-75

Ultrilliam:

You subtracted the wrong way, it's positive not negative

Ultrilliam:

Since the angles are supplementary the same is true for the other side, since it's the acute angle there, that is the answer

Nicole:

Oh okay got it

Nicole:

what about this question: If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal and two alternate exterior angles measure 5x + 3 and 2x + 21, what is the value of x?

Ultrilliam:

Please ask that on a new question

Nicole:

okay
