Ok so I do know for a fact that only two of these are in West Africa

I have an explaination: No one from the Keita dynasty managed to rule after him and this resulted in the disolution of the Mali Empire. Out of the options proposed only Mali and Ghana were empires located on West Africa. On the other hand, Etiophia is located on East Africa.
