Some asteroids were named after countries. For example asteroid number 136 is named Austria. For example 978 Petunia, others were named after plants. 1620 Geographos was named after the NationalGeographic Society, in recognition of it’s efforts at sharing knowledge about the SolarSystem. Many are named after people both alive and dead. In a couple of cases, like 2309 Mr. Spock, asteroids werenamed after the discoverer's pet cat. This type of naming was discouraged, but it still happens occasionally. Even fictional characters have been used. What is the main purpose of paragraph two? A) to provide some background history on the discovery of the first asteroid B) to describe how different asteroids have been named after Greek gods and goddesses C) to give examples of the variety of types of names asteroids are given by astronomers D) to explain the connection between asteroid names and the names of those who discover them
d
The names become official after a group of people review them to make sure they are not offensive or too much like another name. Choose the best revision, if one is needed. A) NO CHANGE B) after a group of people review those C) after a group of people reviews them D) after a group of people reviewed them

I think it's the first choice. o: `become` represent future/present. I'm sure the third choice is wrong. e.e `reviewed` is past. :o
Yeah, that does sound a lot better ;-;
