Laci:

Luke is tiling a square patio in his backyard. He has 121 square-shaped tiles that will cover the entire patio. The maximum number of tiles that Luke can fit along one side of the patio is

Gdeinward:

Well I think this is incomplete,

Gdeinward:

but if it isnt, think of like a grid.

Laci:

No at the end it just has an empty box

Gdeinward:

One box of the grid is equivalent to 1 tile

Gdeinward:

Theres only 2 ways you can create a patio with all 121 tiles. Either 121 X 1 of 11 X 11.

Laci:

Is the answer just 121 then?

Gdeinward:

well depends. Would a patio be 1 tile wide and 120 tiles long, or woul dit be 11 tiles wide, by 11 tiles long?

Laci:

11 by 11

Gdeinward:

Thats my thought on that. I want to personally say, that these questions SUCK.

Laci:

I know

Gdeinward:

Laci:

I know that was my last question on this 80 question test but I still have 96 test like Computers....?But whatever
