An Afternoon of Modern Art

On saturday, I went to the Bates County Museum of Art with my parents. We saw the new modern art exhibit, and it was pretty strange. There were one painting that didn’t really look like anything but slattered paint. Another painting was made out of foil and torn paper. There were also lots of crazy statues made out of metal, bottles, and cans. One even made out of bicycle parts. Did I mention that we ate lunch first? Anyway, the exhibit might be interesting for somebody who like modern art.

There are also some minor grammar mistakes like saturday not having S capitalized and were on `There were one painting that didn’t really look like anything but slattered paint.`

Order of events is lacking as well, mentioning that you ate lunch while you're almost about the finish the paragraph is not very good

In terms of main idea, although it does focus on the museum, it vaguely describes anything they do. It just says "this painting is made out of this", "this other painting is made out of that"
