Lucy: 15 year old, Brown long hair, 5′3″. She is the main character. She loves being with her friends. She is very focused on stuff….Unlike Chelsea…..Who is always quirky and playing around…..

Jordan : 14 year old, Brown short hair, 5’2”. He is a nice guy. He loves anything blue. He always is chill. At first he doesn’t know anything about Lucy but then learns she is a nice girl. Keeps it cool until he messes it up.

Chelsea: 14 year old, black medium length hair, 5’4”. Funny, quirky type. Loves adventure and all things blue-tiful. As seen she is VERY punny...haha!

Sara: 15 year old, reddish blond long hair, 5’3”. Very nice to everyone. Doesn’t always have her head in the game. Loves hanging with friends and just having a good time. Doesn’t like getting mad unless it is to defend her friends(mostly Lucy).

Olivia: 14 year old, shorter blond hair, 5’2”. Another cheesy one. She is most of the time happy but, when someone messes with her or her friends she get serious. She has tried to give Daniel a bit of his own medicine but he just told Mr. Smoots(their principle) and Daniel denied everything so she got in trouble for it.

Amell: 16 year old, brown swishy hair that is always combed to the left, 5’5”. Very old friend of Lucy. Classy, fancy, and friendly. Has a crush on Lucy.

Daniel: 14 year old, short green spiky hair(Lucy has heard that Daniel was trying to make his hair blue..and now the green will not come out….haha!) 5’0”. Is a big bully. Dumps girls and says it was their fault. Always pestering Lucy.

Lukas: 16 years old, short brown hair, 5’5”. Brother of Amell’s. Was abandoned when he was 3 and was picked up my Amell’s family.

Dan: 16 years old, short black hair, 5’9”. Likes dancing and can definitely do it.

Mike: 15 AND A HALF years old, short brown hair with a tint of blond at the roots, 5’4”. Very nice young man who is always there for his friends.

Chapter 1:
Festival meeting
One day Lucy was going to a festival at the park. She got out of bed and ate breakfast. The festival was not until 5pm. So she had a whole day to find out what to wear and how her hair would be done. She went to her room and got a cute dress.It was off of her favorite magazine “Cute Clothes 2018”. She loved it so she wore it. Her mom was sleeping and her dad had to leave for work early (Her dad worked in the police department.) so she walked to school by herself. She first walked to her Aunt Lina’s to see if she was awake……….nope. She walked to her friend, Olivia Morgan’s house next to see if she was ready for school. She knocked. No answer…...She knocked again no answer. What was wrong? Just then the door opened to a tall, skinny man. It was Olivia’s brother, Mark Morgan. She asked if Olivia was home or at school early. Mark told Lucy that she is on her way to her grandfather’s funeral. She felt so bad so she said sorry and gave him a hug. She said to tell Olivia when she got back to call her. Mark promised he would. They bid farewell and Lucy left. Thinking nothing about the festival she entered the school. The first period was okay. It was art today. She was so happy she made a picture of a rose. It was beautiful! Next period was a little rougher. It was pre-algebra. She had a long page of it as a test. She was so nervous. She read it and wrote what she thought the answers were. Her pre-algebra teacher, Mrs. Margaret called her as she was walking out the door. She stopped walking, turned around, and with a very nervous tone in her voice said “Y...Yes ma……ma’am…..?”. Mrs. Margaret said that she did so good on the test she needs to sign up for the math contest she insists. Lucy said sadly that she can’t because of her anxiety. Mrs. Margaret said ok but she has to think about it. Lucy said she would as she went to the cafeteria. She ordered her grilled cheese and tomato soup. She got to her table and sat. A cute boy came over and asked if he could sit with her. She said sure and told him her name and the boy said that his name was Liam. He just talked her ear off. She finished her lunch and said she would be right back. He was still sitting there when the bell went off to be in the third period. He was starting to cry when the janitor came up to him. “BOY!! Get off of these chairs and get to class!!” He yelled. Liam sadly got up and had the idea to run and get revenge. He ran down the hall and down the stairs and into their third-period class, science. He ran to Lucy’s desk and opened the drawer. He looked in it and saw a drawing pad. He snatched it up and tore all the pages out. He saw Lucy come in the room and he ran to sit at his desk. He looked down as she walked past. Lucy was wondering why he did that. What was wrong? She sat at her desk and saw her notepad on the floor next to it was the drawing pad ripped into shreds. She picked it up and threw it in the garbage. She went back to her desk and as she walked past Liam said “You did it. I know it. You are mean!”. He looked at her with a straight face and said “Well who left me waiting for someone to talk with when she said she would be right….”. Before he could finish their science teacher, Mr. Darby stood up and said “SIT DOWN NOW!! If you have something to say then you can say it out loud.” As both Liam and Lucy raised their hands. Mr. Darby started the class. They learned about the planets. It was a basic, easy lesson. Lucy raised her hand when he asked if anyone had any questions. “There is a way to describe friendship and working together with space and planets. The planets are like us we work together to make a good environment. But some can mess it up unlike the moon and sun.” She said looking at Liam. “Very good. Anyone else?” No one said anything. After class Liam had everyone giving him notes. He opened them and all of them were saying busteddd and bamm and yeesh you are done for. He sat at on a bench outside the recess area and covered his face. A cute teen girl walked over and Liam looked up. “Why are you sitting here?”She asked. He didn’t answer. “I am having a party tonight…...Want to come?” He looked up and said sure. “OH YAY this is going to be so much fun. 3 hours later school was over and Liam went to the girl’s party but, that is another story to tell back to this one. Lucy went home with no drawing pad. She didn’t care about it anymore though. She got home and her dad opened the door of the garage and ran to hug her. She was so happy he was home. Usually he wasn’t because of his job. They went inside and they ate ham and cheese mac. It was delicious. She excused herself and went up to her room and got her clothes for the festival and headed out towards the park. She stopped by Olivia’s house because she PROMISED to come with her to the festival by heart and if she wasn’t home she wouldn’t be mad because she remembered what Mark said that morning about their grandfather. She knocked and the door was answered by……..Olivia!!! They both set out to the park. They got there and sat their bags down in a cubby in the park lockers they rented. They went to the games and played a few. They had to work though so they went to work. Olivia had the snack bar and Lucy had a game. So they went off alone. Lucy was at her game which was a basketball game when a younger boy came up to her and asked if he could play. Lucy said yes of course and gave him a ball. He..he made 15 baskets. He said his name was Jordan and asked what her name was. She told him her name was Lucy and blushed. “How old are you??” Lucy asked Jordan . “I am 12…....Why?” He asked. “Oh no reason….I am 13. I am going to turn 14 in April.”. He said his birthday was in November. He played a while more and then left. She was blushing so hard she ended up having a headache and fainting. “LUCY!!! LUCY!! WAKE UP!!!” Lucy’s little sisters Niki and Elly yelled. “W...W...What happened?” She asked. She looked up to see she was laying in her bed and she looked around to see all her family worried around her. “You fainted. I thought you would never wake up again!” Her big sister, Caroline said with tears in her eyes. Lucy got up and said she was fine and she was going to Olivia’s house and tell what had happened. “Sweetie, she knows you fainted.” Her mom said with sympathy. “No! She doesn’t. I have a story for her!” Lucy said as she turned around. “YOUNG LADY!! You will not go anywhere this late at night! It is almost midnight!” Her dad said pointing to the clock. Lucy looked over and in shock returned to her room. She leaned back on her fluffy pillows and took her book, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and started reading. She was about to fall asleep when she heard a BANG out the window. Her room was on the second floor so she was kinda’ scared to look outside. She was walking to the window when again there was another BANG ! What was it?? What could it be??


Chapter 2:
The Unexpected Visitor

Lucy was so curious. She walked slowly. Getting closer she heard yet another BANG! She ran and looked out the window. Right, when she looked out she saw a rock coming toward her!! “AHHHH!!!” she screamed forgetting the window was closed.”SHHHHH!!” her little brother Jacob. “What are you doing up?” Lucy asked. “I was going downstairs to get a drink. Want to come with me??” Jacob asked and added “Why were you yelling?”. “Someone was throwing rocks at this window!” pointing at the window. Jacob went to the window and looked down to see nothing. He was about to walk away from the window, when they saw a bush shake and the tip of a head. They ran down stairs and out the door. The door slamming closed obviously woke up Nikki, Elly and Caroline and also their big brothers Brandyn and Mateo because a few seconds later they saw the door fling open to them running out. “WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!!!??!?!?” Brandyn asked madly! “Someone is in the bushes!” Jacob said as he ran to them and then he added “AUNT DIANA!!”. They all ran and hugged her. “I thought you lived in New York and couldn’t come until next year….” Caroline’s voice fading into nothing. “ I wanted to surprise you and be sitting on your couch when you guy wake up. I went to the back door and found out that I forgot the key at my house…..so i needed someone to unlock it. I forgot which window was your mom and dad’s so I guessed and obviously was incorrect…..”She said as she started to hug all of them. They walked inside quietly because their mom and dad were still asleep. It was 1:57 when they all agreed to get back to sleep. Aunt Diana was sleeping on the couch because the guest room had wet paint in it. Lucy tippy-toed back down to Aunt Diana 3 hours later and looked if she was awake…….yes… “Aunt Diana..?” “Yes, sweetie?” She asked. “I want to ask you something…” Lucy asked and also added “Can you come up and let me read my book to you?” “And what is that?” Diana asked. “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children….” Lucy said. Aunt Diana sat up and stretched. She got up and walked to Lucy’s room. Lucy ran ahead. Lucy jumped onto her bed and layed down. She grabbed the book as Aunt Diana sat down on Lucy’s grandma’s chair. She got it before she passed. She loved that chair. She looked over and said “Can you please not sit there?? I pretend grandma is alway sitting there talking to me.” “OH. I am so sorry…..” Aunt Diana said as she jumped up to her feet. She sat on the end of Lucy’s bed as she read. She ended up falling asleep at about 7 am and Diana walked out to the kitchen. She got her purse and glasses. She knew they don’t wake up until 10:30. She left to go to the store to get breakfast. She got……….

Chapter 3:
The breakfast

She opened her car door and stepped out. She walked up to the store and saw a boy in the front of the store. She walked up to him and asked who he was. “Jordan .” he said. As soon as she said that she remembered that her sister told her of a boy named Jordan that Lucy met the night before. “Are you my niece's friend?? Her name is Lucy.” “Oh. I just met her the other night. She is quite a nice girl.” He said as he blushed. She said that she is making a big breakfast and asked if he wanted to come. “Oh that would be lovely!!” He said and asked where they live. After he was told he said he would be there in an hour. Diana walked into the store and got eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, milk, bread, and potatoes. She went to the register and payed for all of it. She looked at her watch. It was 8:40. She had a while to make breakfast. She went home to see Jordan waiting. “I guess I am early. Can I help?” he asked walking over. He helped her get the groceries inside. “Do you know how to cook? If so you can start the eggs.” Diana said. “Ok” Jordan walked over to grab the eggs and then wash his hands. He got a pan and started. He cooked 18 eggs!! “I need to go to the restroom. Where is it?” He asked. “Down the hall and around the corner and up the stairs to the left.” Diana said. He went up to the restroom. When he was in the restroom. Lucy woke up and went downstairs to see what was going on. She went down to see Aunt Diana cooking. “Wow. Can I help??” She asked. “Yes. Grab the eggs left, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter and milk and start the pancakes.” She walked over and got the ingredients. She was walking back over to the pans and heard footsteps. “Oh no. I must have woken up someone. I will go check who it is.” She said walking over to the stairs. She looked up to see Jordan looking down at her. “Hey.” Jordan said walking down. Then he added “How are you?”. “G..Good..d.” She said shyly “Who let you in?? Does anyone else in this house even know you?”. “Your aunt must have heard about me because she invited me and knew we knew each other.” Jordan said and then walked past her. She turned around and made her way into the kitchen where Jordan and her aunt were cooking. She went to her aunt and asked “Why did you invite him?” Her aunt with a blank face and said “He is your friend isn’t he?” Lucy put her hands over her face and walked away. “What did I do?” Aunt Diane asked. Lucy said to come to her. Aunt Diane did come. “He is the one who made me faint” She whispered. “WHAT DID HE DO?? DID HE HURT YOU?!?!?!” She screamed. She looked around the room and whispered, “No.” Aunt Diane gasped with astonishment. Lucy ran up to her room and covered her head in a pillow. “What’s wrong?” Jordan asked Aunt Diane. She walked past him ignoring his question. She went back to cooking. She didn’t want to wake anyone else up but, then Elly came down and started screaming at her for making Lucy mad. Then Jacob came down and yelled at Elly for waking him up. Then Caroline walked out and sat on the couch and turned on the TV and turned it up which woke up Brandyn and Mateo. Next, Nikki ran out and said “YOU ARE EVIL!!! EVIL I SAY!!!” to Aunt Diana for making Lucy cry and sat at the couch. Then they turned on their film of the festival on the TV. They laughed and danced as the breakfast was cooking. Then half an hour later they ran to the table. “Auntie! What is this?” Jacob asked. “It is a key lime pie pancake with whipped cream.” Aunt Diana said. They ate and then ran to their rooms and got dressed. They ran down the stairs and went to their mom and dad’s room and woke them up. Then told them that their Aunt was there. “Really?” their mom asked. They yelled “YAH!!”. They ran to her and said hi. Nikki ran to her and her sister’s room and said “ I know Aunt Diana made a mistake and made you mad… But please come down stairs and at the VERY least try one of her key lime pie pancakes...They are sooo good. So I saved you three of them”. As Lucy thanked her she ran downstair and took the remaining pancakes saved for her. She ran to her mom and asked her something. After she shook her head Lucy ran as fast as she could toward the phone. She dialed Olivia’s number as fast as she could; then put the phone to her ear. She heard a deep voice answer the phone “Hello this is the Morgan residents. How may I help you?”. Lucy knew who this was now. It was Olivia’s dad! “Hello. It is Lucy.” she said politely and then added “May I talk to Olivia?”. Then all of a sudden she heard their cat, Kit Kat purring. “LUCY! I thought you would still be down for the count.” Olivia’s dad’s voice boomed. Lucy said “Yes. I am good now… Just a temporary thing”. Then he put Olivia on the phone. “ Good morning Lucy!” She said in amazement that she was okay. All of a sudden from across the room she heard another phone ring. She held the phone in her hand and ran toward the wall mounted telephone and picked it up. “Hello?” Lucy said confused who it might be. “Hi! Lucy I heard what happened the other day and thought I might as well call and see if you were ok…….So are you?” Chelsea asked. Lucy was obviously okay since she was answering the phone but she politely answered “Yes I am great. How are you?”. Chelsea was happy to hear that and said “Oh I am okay……..So are you still up for skydiving today??? Olivia is...”.

Chapter 4:
FunTown

Lucy had totally forgot about that and also forgot that she was on the phone with her and Olivia. She dropped both the phones and got her jumpsuit and ran to the phone, remembering she was on it talking to both Olivia and Chelsea, she grabbed both the phones and said to Chelsea “Yes. I will be there in 20 minutes.” and to Olivia “You are going skydiving too, right? I need a ride and it has to be one that gets me to Chelsea’s house in 20 minutes.” Olivia said in shock “Yah, my mom can drive pretty fast…….but it will be at the speed limit.” As Lucy rode her bike to Olivia’s house as fast as she could she saw a familiar boy, Daniel Bobeen. He was the cutest kid in the neighborhood. His eyes sparkled as he rode by on his bike and said, “Hey Lucy! What happened the other night? I saw you go down and called your mom, dad, and the doctor.” Lucy didn’t really like Daniel; yes he was the cutest but also brattiest. He was always getting in and out of relationships and blaming it on the girl. He even tried starting one with Lucy. After she punched him in the face he didn’t talk to her for a while...but, a while later he started talking again. “ “Thank you so much” ” she said as politely as she could. He knew she was being sarcastic and asked where she was going. She didn’t replied and looked ahead. THERE WAS A TREE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER! She quickly turned left and all of a sudden she crashed right into Daniel. Then Sara came over once he biked as fast as he could away. “What happened??” She asked, adding “All I saw was you riding into Daniel...Why?” As Lucy dusted herself off she said “I didn’t do ANYTHING!! It was HIM!!!” As Sara looked toward were Lucy was looking she said “Sureeee….. Like the cutest kid in our school would do such a thing!”. Lucy looked at her with a furious face and Sara knew that it wasn’t her who caused the crash. Sara tried running toward the way he rode but it was a lost cause since he was already so ahead. Sara ran back to Lucy and said “Well...He goes to our school so tomorrow he will get a pounding!” Lucy looked at her and screamed as loud as possible “NO! Then you will have to explain and Mr. Smoots will not believe us……” Sara left after saying her goodbyes. She finally got to Olivia’s house and ran to the door and knocked. No one answered and 10 minutes had already passed from the time she said she would be there. She remembered she was give the back door key so she ran around the back and opened the door and the lights were off. So she ran up stairs….No one!! She pulled her phone out of her pocket and dialed Olivia’s number. Then all of a sudden she heard a ringing noise down stairs and ran down and saw her phone sitting on the counter. “Ugh this is not really happening!!” She said sadly as she went to the kitchen. She went to the fridge and grabbed a soda and sat down and went to her contacts. Happily seeing that Olivia’s mom’s number was on her phone she clicked on it and sent her a message asking where they were. About ten minutes later she responded saying “Waiting at your house…..where are you??”. After she said she was at there's Olivia’s mom said she would pick her up since she has to pick up her daughter’s phone. After agreeing for Olivia’s mom to pick her up Lucy ran to the front door and opened the door as she ran out to the hammock and sat down. A minute later she saw a tall skinny man in a dark black suit with short hair combed to the side and held by gel. He walked up to her as if he knew her. Lucy was suddenly scared. So she got up and and started to slowly walk toward the house. Then the guy started running toward her and yelled “Hey! Lucy!! Why are you running away?!?!”. Lucy wondered how he knew her name but, kept running and once she got to the house she started to close the door when a foot slipped in...It was the guy’s. “WHO ARE YOU?!?!?” she asked trying to slam the door with all her strength. He yelled as loud as he could “Stop! I’m your abandoned friend.. 2 years, 5 days, 18 hours, 12 minutes, and 32 seconds..33...34...UGH well you get the point… seconds ago you left my home town, Denver, Colorado...and moved HERE,out of ALL places HERE!! And of course all you told me was you were moving to Florida..not WERE in Florida..I have been searching 25 cities to find you! And you are trying to leave me.. again…” He said sadly and started walking away. All of a sudden she remembered him. He is……….Amell…..Her old best friend everrrrrr!! “STOP!! I AM SORRY!!!” Lucy screamed at the top of her lungs. Then Amell stopped and turned around. “Are you really?” he said with a tear in his eye. Lucy looked at him and knew he was not faking this. Lucy told him that she couldn’t talk since she was going skydiving and her friend Olivia was picking her up and that this was her house… “Then why are you in it and how?” he asked confused. But, once she said they leave a key for her he was no longer confused. Then she said good-bye and walked into the house. Before she could fall asleep she heard the front door open. She jumped to her feet and look to the front door but could see no one. Then she got to the ground and sat for a minute, grabbing her phone she dialed her mom’s number. Right when she did that she heard a familiar voice from behind her. “Who are you spying on?”. She turned around to see Olivia looking right at her in confusion. As Lucy explained how she was about to fall asleep and heard the door open and thought it was a thief. “Haha!! I am no thief….Well….I have stolen one thing…. YOUR FRIENDSHIP!!” Olivia said bursting out in laughter. Lucy said in amazement “WOW!! You are so cheesy!”. Then they ran out of the house and jumped into the car. Then shut the door and left. They went as fast as they could to Chelsea’s house. “I am sooo sorry guys. My mom is sick so we can’t go, because we got no ride.” Chelsea said. Then Olivia stared at her mom and did puppy eyes.. As she looked at her daughter she said “I can drive you guys.” Then they all ran to the car and left. They drove for an hour. Lucy, Olivia, and Chelsea were all asleep when the car stopped as it bumped forward they all woke up. They were at a gas station. Lucy saw this and got out of the car and grabbed her walet . “Mrs. Morgan may I go inside and get some drinks and snacks for us?” Mrs. Morgan didn’t listen so she told Olivia she was going and ran in. She grabbed a box of cookies and four big bottles of gatorade and ran to the cash register. As the lady rung her up she asked “How are you doing today young lady?”. Lucy said she was good. When the woman was done Lucy ran out and went to the car. She gave them each two cookies and a gatorade. Then sat down. Mrs. Morgan was done so they continued on their trip. Half an hour later they were finally there. They got out and stretched. Then ran to the gate and asked a man when it would open he said in 2 minutes..so they waited. A few seconds later a man with a tag walked up to the gate and said “Hello! Can you give me your names, first and last please?” Then he looked up from the book he was carrying. He saw Lucy staring at the book in amazement. “Do you like this book?” he asked. “I WISH!! I don’t have it yet! It is worth tons of money and it is rare! IT IS KITTY WAR TWO TWENTY!!! LEGENDARY TOO!?!” As Olivia looked at him weird he said “Don’t judge!”. Then Olivia’s mom said “ummm…. Ok. Me and my daughter, Olivia comes here a lot...So I have been told I could just give you my phone number and I am allowed to bring two guests for one day.” The man look at her and said “One.. One guest for the day..” Then Olivia’s mom started getting mad when Lucy said “I can pay for my ticket. I have $514.17.” Marry, Olivia’s mom look at her with wide eyes and agreed. Lucy reached into her pocket and then in shock she said “I think I left it in the car….Sorry. I will go grab it… Mrs. Morgan where was the car parked?” Then Marry pointed all the way across the parking lot…… As she started walking the man yelled out “Stop! I can pay for this one trip for you but next time….YOU are paying!” Then Lucy shook her head and said sorry for not having her money with her and then said “I will come next time with 2 times the amount I need and I will give you half of it to keep!” He thanked her and then let them in. They ran to the building and skydived. Afterwards Olivia said “THAT WAS SOOOO FUN!!”. Then her mom looked at her like she was crazy and said “shhhhhhhhhh..” But, Olivia was SO happy she grabbed 4 snow cones off a cart and put $10 dollars down and then ran back to them and gave them each one. “Where did you get the money to buy those??” Mary asked. “ummm….Totally not your wallet…” and then grinned frightful that her mom would get mad. Then all of a sudden Mary started laughing. Olivia, Chelsea, and Lucy looked at each other bewildered and then bursted out in laughter too. As they walked along they saw a spinning roller coaster that went up and down and also spun. “OOHHH!! Lucy want to go on that with me??” Olivia asked. “Ohh NO!” Lucy said and then added “I love roller coasters but that is to much!” and then laughed. Olivia and Chelsea went on it as Lucy and Mary sat patiently waiting. Lucy looked at the beautiful rosey red gardenias and then walked over to them. She crouched down and smelt them. They smelt like an exotic perfume. As she stood up someone hugged her she was ready to turn around and punch whoever it was. She turned around, her legs shaking and her fist tight. Then all of a sudden the girl hugging was recognized. It was Sara! “Fewww…..I am glad I didn’t punch!!” Lucy said in relief. Sara, as confused as she was said “Heyyyy….. Lucy, me and my mom were going to go to the PartyPub if you would like to come too.” Then Lucy looked at Mary and said “ I am sorry.. My mom said to stay with whoever brought me here...And that is Mrs. Morgan. So I can’t leave her or Olivia...Sorry…” Then after a brief talk with her mom Sara invited all of them. So Lucy ran to Mary and asked if they could and her response was “Well…..I don’t know...We would have to find out if Olivia and Chelsea would want to….And I don’t know if we have the time…..You guys want to get to the skydiving section before it is too late..”. Lucy looked at Sara sorrowfully. She didn’t know what to say but sorry. “BOO!!” yelled a familiar voice. Lucy, startled turned to check who it was, saw Olivia. Again she was happy she didn’t punch. “Ughhhh...OLIVIA! You scared me half to death!” Lucy exclaimed. Olivia looked at her in sorrow and sat down. But, Chelsea ran up to Sara and hugged her. “Oh! Olivia how are you?” Sara asked as Chelsea hugged her. Olivia exclaimed “We are at FunTown!! How could I possibly be sad??”. Then Sara backed up and went to get hug Olivia..Just that moment she jumped up and started running as she screamed “You can’t catch me!! I was in the field team for 5 years!!”. Then Chelsea yelled “RUNAWAY LADY!! CATCH HER!!”. Then Chelsea ran after her as Lucy and Sara continued talking. “Hey! Why don’t you guys come with us for skydiving and we can grab some food at the PartyPub on the way out!!” Lucy exclaimed after she had brainstormed. They agreed to this so they hollered for Chelsea and Olivia to come along. So they did. Once they got to the skydiving zone Lucy squealed. Sara looked at her and then looked in the the direction Lucy was looking. Amell was working there! Lucy walk to him and said she was sorry for such a quick leave that morning. “It’s okay…..There is a FunTown ball tonight……..” then he trailed off into nothing. “So.. What about it?” Sara asked. Then Amell whispered something to the other girls(not Lucy) and they walked off. Yes, they walked off...not very far though. They sat behind a barrel and peeked out to see what happened. “Lucy, I..um wanted to ask...if you would like to come..to the dance with me…….as my date???? Maybe???” Lucy looked back at her girls and they all shook their head fast and Sara took a piece of paper out of her pocket and snatched at pen out of Olivia’s bag and wrote “YES!!!!!!!”. So she turned back to Amell and said “Yes…..”.

Chapter 5:
Before the Dance

So Amell smiled and laughed and ran back to two boys about the same age as him, one with short brown hair and a shirt that said Bodley University(which Lucy guessed is where he went to school). The other sat next to a girl who had long blond hair and a short blue dress. He was a guy who had short black hair. He had a sweatshirt that said Bodley University. Lucy ran back to her girls and asked them where she has clothes for this dance. Sara exclaimed “I saw a discount formal clothes shop across the street from the entrance!!” Lucy was sad because she didn’t want to make Mary drive them there and she has not yet got her driving licence. And Sara could see that so she went up to the two boys and asked if either got their license and a car. “I do!” the boy with the sweatshirt said and then added “And my name is Lukas….Just FYI….”. Olivia walked up to him and said “Ok….So??” then she added “You got a car? You BETTER!!...Now let’s go!!” So they ran to his car. Which was a tall red and blue truck. Lucy looked in amazement and then said “I love you truck! But how do I get in it??”. Then she tried to get in and she almost fell to the ground when Amell caught her and said “Be careful! I don’t want you getting hurt before the dance!” Lucy stood up and looked at him seriously and them walked to Lukas. Amell said sorry and then said “I wanted to introduce you to my other friend that you saw...His name is Dan….” Then Sara looked at him and then looked back at Luckas and asked “I thought you lived in Colorado...And do you guys go to the University orrrrr…” she trailed off. “Well we moved here over a year ago to search for Lucy…...And yes we go to the University…..We are ALREADY in college because we tested much higher than people our age usually would!!” Amell said gladly. Then Lucy found out how to get in the car and she did along with Sara, Olivia, and Chelsea. Then Lukas jumped in the driver's seat and asked “You guys ready?”. All the girls shook their heads and they set off to get all the girls dresses. Once they got their Lukas asked “Is it okay if I tag along while you choose a dress or do you want me to sit out here?”. The girls looked at each other and then Sara said “You can come if you want but….don’t complain that we are taking long.”. Lukas agreed so they went in. Lucy saw a long teal dress with a cross strap and. The dress also had a removable skirt so the skirt can be taken off to dance.So there is the long skirt and the short one. This is what it looked like with the long skirt. She looked at the price. Since this was a discount dress shop it was only $20.84!!!! Lucy showed it to the others. Lukas opened his mouth wide and Chelsea laughed. Lukas said “Try it on! It will look even more beautiful with you in it!”. Lucy did try it on and Lukas’s face make Chelsea laugh more than ever so she said “I thought I was the funny one...But I guess it is this one!!”. So, Lucy payed for it and then she walked back over to help the others choose dresses. So Olivia chose a one piece clothing that was so cute and kind of like this picture but pink with black spots. Chelsea chose a super cute dress that looked like this. And Sara found a red and black dress that she loved that was exactly like this.. After they all got dresses, Lukas went up to the girls and asked if they could help him find a suit to wear. Chelsea ran to the register and asked the lady there if they had any suits. She was very snarky and she didn’t look to like her job but, she got up and walked across the shop. Chelsea and the rest of them followed her. They went through a dark arch which led to a dimmed room filled with tuxes. Chelsea ran to one with a smile on her face. Lucy knew she was going to laugh. Right before Lucy was going to say not to say anything Chelsea bursted out in laughter and said “SPARKLES!! Hahahahaha!!!”. Right then the lady stared at her with her eyes squinting so far shut that Lucy didn’t even know if she could even see them. Lucy looked at Chelsea with such a mean look but she kept laughing. They ran as fast as she could back to the cash register and sat down. “I think she saw someone at the entrance.” Lucy thought. Once the lady got up to the front she grabbed her phone and looked at the time then she called for someone by the name of Mike. A few seconds after a young man, maybe about 15 years old, runs out of the room with the formal party clothes. He ran to the front desk and said, “I am sorry. I saw a rat and was trying to get rid of it before-someone sees” His voice faded into a squeak at the last words as he saw the girls and Lukas. He put his head down and covered his face as if someone was going to scream at him. All of a sudden the front desk woman said to the customers (lucy and her friends) “Hi, I am Lyna Dandy. This is my son Mike. Sorry for that terrible attitude I had a minute ago..It was just that...well we have an inspector coming tomorrow and we need everyone out of the store by 3:30.”. Lucy looked at the crooked clock on the wall and it said 12:00. She KNEW that wasn’t right. She said “Well, that might be the first thing you want to fix..After that...well we are about to leave so we might as well check out..After that if you want you and Mike can come with us and we can discuss what you should change over lunch.”. Lyna shook her head and checked them out. Olivia grabbed her phone and looked on Google Maps. “OoH! There is a new buffet right down the road...And it has a five star rating!!” Olivia said. So, they headed out for the buffet. Once they got there they ate all they could and talked about the things that needed fixing. After they got done Lyna and Mike left. But right before Mike left he asked Sara if she would be his date to the dance. Sara agreed to go with him so Mike went with them back to FunTown.

Chapter 6: Getting Ready
Once they got back to FunTown they got a hotel room(which Luke payed for). They put the dresses in the room and the girls took showers. Marry came up 23 minutes after they got back and said that she needed to talk to Olivia in private. So, Olivia walked out of the room and they sat on a bench in the hall. A few minutes late, Olivia walked in the room. She was crying. Sara dropped her makeup brush and ran to her with half her makeup done. “What’s wrong? What happened?” Lucy asked as she ran toward her. Olivia sighed then said “My grandpa died..He had a heartache and because my grandma doesn’t want everyone crying and making a HUGE deal out of it and she doesn’t have money to have the funeral she wants she isn’t having one..”. Lucy’s mouth was wide open, Sara was pouting, and Chelsea was crying. “Your grandpa was like my grandpa...I never got to meet mine so I always acted as if yours was mine..” Lucy said starting to cry. Olivia sat up and said “Papa would not want us to cry. So let’s please not”. Then she got up, swiped the tears off her face and grabbed a towel. She walked into the bathroom and took a shower. Chelsea said in amazement “Wow. I would never be that structured….I would be falling apart”. Lucy agreed that she would too and so did Sara. They all went back to what they were doing. Sara was doing her makeup, Lucy was doing her hair, and Chelsea was reading a joke book while Sara did her makeup too. Sara made her makeup red/black/white/gold. She made Chelsea’s just a skin toned color. She also did Lucy’s and made her’s blue/black.
It was 1 hour until the dance. Lucy was so nervous. What if I trip and fall? What if AMELL OR SOME OTHER BOY CATCHES ME?!? Lucy thought.She was pacing back and forth. All of a sudden Chelsea ran up to her. She grabbed Lucy and pulled her into the closet right as there was a knock at the door. Lucy looked through the crack in the door to see Amell. OH NO! What if Amell saw me pacing back and forth through the peephole!?! What would he think? Would he think I don’t like him?! Lucy worried. Chelsea looked at her and then looked out the crack in the door and said boldly to Lucy “GET TOGETHER GIRL! You are falling apart! Ugh…..Come on Lucy!! Wake up from your daydream or ̲ ”. Right as she was about to talk the closet door opened and Amell was standing next to Dan and Lukas. Behind them was Mike. Lucy smashed her face into a pile of shirts and pulled a shirt over her. But, it was too late. They had already seen her. Chelsea got up and grabbed Lucy’s hand and dragged her out. Lucy got up went into a small bedroom and slammed the door. She slid down and sitted in front of the door. She shoved her head between her legs. Just then, she heard a voice calling her name but didn't see anyone. She jumped up and ran around the room looking in every closet, bathroom, and corner. No one was there! Then she heard the voice again. It sounded SO familiar to her. But, this time the voice said “Out the window!”. So she looked out the window and saw………………………………. JORDAN! Lucy blushed and hid behind a tall lamp. Jordan was yelling for HER. Lucy kneeled down and looked out the window. She was so nervous that Amell would come into the room and ask why she was fanboying over...well a little boy. So she got up, opened the window, and yelled “Hello. I will be right down.”. Right after the words escaped her mouth did she think! She couldn’t go down the stairs or Amell and the others would see. And she couldn’t go through the vents because..well she was to big for that. An idea automatically popped in her head. She jumped up grabbed a blanket off the bed and tied it to the window crank. She yanked on it to see if it was stable. Then she tied another onto the blanket. She pulled again and it was still stable. Thinking it was long enough since they were only on the second floor. So she grabbed the blanket and jumped out the window. She thought if Rapunzel could climb down her hair then she can climb down some blankets. So she continued. It wasn’t until she was dangling that she thought, OH I AM CRAZY. She was dangling and couldn’t get back up. The only choice was to fall..She didn’t want to do that..especially before the dance! But, her grip was slipping and she was crying. A minute later she FELL!! She opened her eyes and she was in front of Jordan. This is what she was scared of! Falling!!!! She closed her eyes because she was in a lot of pain from the fall. She fainted. After a while, she opened her eyes. And she was no longer in front of the hotel. She was at the nurse’s. She sat up on the bed she was laying and saw Amell CRYING. She also saw Dan, Lukas, Mike, Sara, Chelsea, and Olivia. Lucy got up and Sara ran to her and pushed her back into bed. “The nurse said that you need to stay laying down for 3 hours.”. Lucy’s heart was pounding as fast as a cheetah. Where was Jordan? Why was she in the hospital when she felt fine? Anddd why was Amell CRYING?? Lucy sat up and told Amell to come sit down on the side of the bed. So, he did. She asked “What is wrong?”. He just turned away and stopped crying. He turned back for a second and said “You can’t come to the dance and that kid that you were by said that if you could then you would go with him.”. Lucy looked around and confessed “No. We just met a few days ago. To be honest, I don’t know why he was there..Anyway where is he?”. Amell looked at her in anger and got up and walked out of the room. Sara walked to the bed and sat down and talking, “Jordan is fine! He was scared that he was the reason you fell. So he ran once he saw us coming out. Amell ran after him and caught him. He got Jordan’s story of what happened.”Lucy layed down and Mike came over. “We got to get to the dance if we are going” he said. Sara shook her head (No). So did Olivia and Chelsea. They didn’t want to go without her. Lucy got up and ducked when Sara tried to pin her to the bed. She stood back up and said she felt FINE! She ran to Mike and said “We are going to the dance!”. Then she ran out the room, past the nurse, and to Amell. “I am sorry! I didn’t know you cared so much about me, Amell. I would like it if you would still be my date.”. After he heard her say sorry he jumped to his feet, wrapped his arm around her’s, and walked toward the door.

Chapter 7:
The Dance
As they all walked out the door to walk to the car, Olivia spotted Jordan sitting by the building. He ran up to her because she was in the back of the line. “Is Lucy ok?” he asked. Sara said she was fine. “She fell on the softer grass...I am surprised she is still alive...Why were you there? Why did you call her?”. “I was going to ask her to the dance a few days before today..Then I heard that..that DUMBO asked her! And she said YES!?!?”. “Well yes she did. She has no one to go with. You should have asked her fast. BUT YOU DIDN’T. It isn’t her fault so don’t even start fussing because you already sound fussy.” “Whatever” Jordan said as he walked away. Sara saw him run into a shop. Sara ran up to Lucy and told her what happened. Lucy looked down at the ground and Amell yelled at Sara “NO MORE TALKING ABOUT THAT LITTLE BOY!”. Lucy looked at him and said “Stop yelling at her and anyone else or I am NOT going with you!”. Amell stopped and got in his truck. Sara went with Mike. Chelsea went with Dan. And Olivia agreed to go with Lukas….Even though she didn’t want to go with anyone. So a while later they were at the big building where the dance was being held. And all the girls walk in and Sara was too nervous to dance with Amell.
