How do the specific ways that transformations work help you to determine the characteristics of the final figures? Is it important to note whether or not transformations are rigid? Explain your reasoning as you make your arguments. Be sure to include examples, where relevant.

So yes rigid transformations tell you whether the image is congruent to the original or not Reflections, rotations, and translations are rigid transformations and do not alter the shape or size However, dilation is not rigid, it manipulates its side lengths, making the image either larger or smaller in relation to its original (The angle measures do remain the same though) **This is a general idea of how to answer it and not by any means all you have to include in the response**
Thanks my guy
