What is your favorite food that can be stored forever? (Oatmeal, plain pasta, ramen, etc...) If I find an interesting one I'll consider buying it because I'm tired of oatmeal and plain pasta and ramen isn't healthy.

In terms of fruits, plums, bananas, dried apricots, grapes. My morning breakfast is milk, bread & peanut butter. Apart from that, frozen chicken nuggets. You could make easy 23 step home made chicken patty burgers. Get frozen chicken patties and buns. Get some garden salad and hot sauce. Put some hot sauce on the buns, some salad on the base, then put some chicken patties and then another layer of garden salad. Tada! Those ingredients don’t go bad very easily...welp apart from garden salad. You could almost get a juicer and make home made juice of apples, oranges, beetroots, carrots etc. Toss everything in and your good to go. Also get some frozen cheese pizza(cheaper than the rest) and put your left over veggies on top like tomates, bell peppers, onions and toss that sucker into the oven for 12-15 minutes at 420-500F TADA!!(don’t forget to put black pepper on top, it makes all the difference in the universe). You could also get some garden salad boxes from the store and put some dressings and black pepper on top and maybe toss in some boiled chicken...if you have any and TADA!!

Vocaloid:

Lentils are cheap, have a really long shelf life when they’re uncooked, have a really nice earthy taste that goes well with most spices and herbs

JSVSL7:

Pistachios serve as a good snack, are heart-healthy, do not go bad for several weeks, and require minimal care. They are one of my favorite nuts, but essentially all nuts are great, especially for brain health.

NAGC:

rice

Ballery1:

get one of those electric pressure cookers from amazon. dude, you can literally cook anything in it. just make sure not to set your room on fire tho... lol

mhchen:

I have one of those electric pressure cookers, but I only know how to cook rice with it

Gdeinward:

try overnight oats. I mean it is oatmeal, but you can get very creative with it. You can find any recipe, but generally, you get hardy oats, and you can throw it in a cup the night before along with some water, almond milk, or whatever you want. Those are the basic ingredients. But you can also add raisins, apples, peanut butter, banana, anything you can think of.

Gdeinward:

It helps to get out of that monotonous feeling when you eat oatmeal.

misty34:
