Could someone explain how to do this for me? Determine the theoretical domain and range, and the practical domain and range, of the function. Then graph the function over each domain. A vendor has 20 umbrellas to sell. He sells them for $15 each. The function m(u)=15u models the total amount of money the vendor makes from selling u umbrellas.
basically for theoretical domain and range you are just looking at the function itself (without considering real-life constraints) to determine what the possible values of u and m(u) are for practical domain you consider what the real-life limitations are. since we are talking about umbrellas, u has to be only integers greater than or equal to 0 (negative umbrellas has no real life meaning)
do you understand how to find domain, range, and how to graph?
Yes
alright C: if you have any trouble you can ask me (or maybe dude if he's online, I'm probably logging off soon)
