Is my own definition of "paradigm" consistent with how other people define "paradigm"? "Things that people agree with" I ask this because the definitions online are all different, and they use smart-sounding words that give me a headache. Whereas my definition here is so simple.

My example: "The sun rotates around earth" was a paradigm back in the old age since people agreed with it then after invention of telescope, there was a 'paradigm shift', and "The earth rotates around the sun" became the new paradigm
