Question 1 (Essay Worth 5 points) Explain how heredity and family medical history can play a role in an individual’s personal health. Include examples in your explanation. Question 2 (Essay Worth 5 points) What are the possible effects of contaminated water on the health of an individual or community? Explain your answer in terms of what causes the contamination, the types of infectious agents involved in the related diseases, and how these diseases can spread. Question 3 (Essay Worth 5 points) People’s choices can have a positive or negative effect on their health. Describe one positive choice and one negative health choice a person could make. Be sure to explain how each could impact an individual’s health and, if applicable, the health of others.
I would help but I can't rn. Can I give it to you by noon?
Um sure. Thank you.
I'm trying to do Algebra right now :(
Algebra 1?
yes
Ah ok
Like I said I could help but can't rn
ok
thanks, is an exponential function the f(x)=3(4) or y=3+5-x??
Is there an x in the power? That is what makes it exponential
ohhhh ok
So it is 3(4)^x where 3 is the initial value and 4 is the rate of growth
Wait so if an equation triples each day how would I show that???
@JSVSL7
Rate is 3 and rate is represented by b so ab^x
So a(3)^x and if there is an initial then put it as a

Yeah I'm back 1. Eventually, everyone's health is influenced by the genome, which is inherited by your predecessors. The genetic influence of traits can of a family member from several generations back shows up in an individual and influence health. An example would be the neurodegenerative disorder, Huntington's Disease. It is the destruction of glutamate producing neurons that is inherited.
2. Contaminated water may introduce harmful chemicals in our body and increase cytotoxic agents in our blood, some of which cannot be filtered out. It can be caused from a sewage spill due to a storm to the sun. Sometimes the presence of UV radiation on a water reserve's bottom can increase Bromate levels in the water, which is dangerous. Infectious diseases might also sprout from water contamination. The bloom of certain fungi and bacteria might exponentially spread and take over drinking water. This can be dangerous for us.
3. A negative choice could be smoking which damages our lungs and can cause several other unforeseen issues like cancer. It could also impact others via passive smoking. A positive choice would be quitting smoking which is good for yourself and others.
