I see. Well, yes it will be difficult for you to understand unless you have an ancestral history of living in America. The reason why the constitution lacks social and economic guarantees is because of the racial divide that has existed here for centuries. Providing such guarantees would give the "slave class" citizens a level of freedom that the "Framers" aka "the oppressors of the slave class" never intended for them to have because the "slave class" of Americans can never have a level of freedom that would allow them to operate or co-exist independent of their oppressors. I'm not going to go into detail on this, but that's the gist of it. You're not going to find any details on this in traditional books unfortunately.
