lexiecook1:

On Monday, a company stock closed at a price of $30.80 per share. On Tuesday, it increased by $1.20 per share. On Wednesday, it fell by 6.25%. On Thursday, it fell by another 4%, and on Friday, it increased by 2.5%. What is the net change in the stock price from Monday to Friday?

Vocaloid:

Start with Monday’s price For Tuesday, take Monday’s price and add 1.20 For Wednesday, take Tuesday’s price and subtract 6.25% of that price In other words, W = T - 0.0625T For Thursday’s price, take Wednesday’s price and subtract 4% using same method as above For Friday’s price, take Thursday’s price and add 2.5% Or in other words F = Th + 0.025Th Net change is simply the difference between Monday and Friday’s price. It doesn’t say whether they want a whole number or a percentage so give both if possible
