Normies -vs- The Enchanteds

I used to ask myself; Why? Why me? Why not someone else? But I never expected to get an answer, I mean why would I?
It wasn't as if anyone actually knew why I had powers, it wasn't something that normies usually had. Oh sorry my bad I guess you're probably
wondering what the heck I'm talking about, huh? Well let me fill you in.

My name is Angel Ellen, I'm 17 years old, and I can control people. Yeah I know you probably think I'm crazy, but it's
true. And I've been able to do it since I was four. Now if I was one of the enchanted it wouldn't be so weird, but I'm not.
I'm what we call, a normie.

Chapter Two

Normie was the name given to us after the government gave about a fifth of the population mutated genes. These genes gave
different people, different powers. We have the flyers, the swimmers, the gardeners, and many many more enchantments. And
then the normies who weren't allowed to receive the gene because they were to poor or had been assigned a criminal status,
before the change.

But what am I? Nobody knows. I'm supposed to be a normie, but I have powers like an enchanted. People think I'm a freak,
but I just think I'm a weapon.

Chapter Three
---
It's dark here, where no light can get in. The smell of death is all around me. Sometimes I wonder how I get myself into
these situations, but they can't be helped. If I didn't come to the dungeons I wouldn't be able to talk to my brother. My
brother the traitor, the boy on fire, the boy who can burn a city with his mind.

He's just like me, a normie with powers. The government calls us unworthy, the people call us the feared ones, but what
hurts us most is that our own family is scared of us.

Today there are no guards. They're all at the celebration in the town, the one that everyone goes to when a new enchanted
is born. But today there's going to be a surprise, because today's birth is gonna be a very rare occurrence. An enchanted is
going to give birth to... a normie.
