I need to brainstorm practical ideas to reduce the shaking of a washing machine.
Backstory: I have a washing machine that can cause an earthquake and my gaming roommates don't even notice it, but the restaurant downstairs got some complaints. |dw:1573174228977:dw| I need to come up with a practical way to reduce the shaking motion. So far I'm coming up with marbles on the bottom and some wooden platform above that: |dw:1573174478126:dw| Anyone got a better idea before I do this
Use industrial style foam within and outside the washer.
Industrial foam can reduce shakiness?
that was my exact question with the marbles. It can at least reduce the noise and botherness of the shaking
it could be the springs on the inside need to be replaced.
get it real thick and it should solve your problem. Im sure theres better solutions tho
could be just the balance of ur clothes, or the levelness of the ground, you could change the hight of the feet.

What if I used marshmallows instead of that foam.
I see two problems. 1 spend more money in marshmellows than you would foam. 2. If your washer generates any kind of heat, yud have a sticky mess. 3. You might get a new roach problem. I mean technically you could use a soft blanket
marshmallows are so squishy though. The roach problem is a good enough concern. k I'm gonna go get some of those foam then.
it'd be pretty funny if I used marbles though
yeah. But is sounds dangerous if the ground werent perfectly level
You did see the foam feet I posted right?
the 4-pads one?
yep
yeah, I'm gonna get that
lemme know how it works
If you rent and the machine is provided don't waste money. It's the landlords problem.
