The following sentences test your ability to recognize grammar and usage errors. Each sentence contains either a single error or no error at all. No sentence contains more than one error. The error, if there is one, is underlined and lettered. If the sentence contains an error, select the one underlined part that must be changed to make the sentence correct. If the sentence is correct, select choice E. A If moral habits were common, for example, for individuals B to have gotten drunk once and then forswear the bottle, to commit a single crime and then permanently reform, C or to seize power and voluntarily give it up, D moral integrity would be a precise science and we could live without much fear and more freedom. E No error A) If moral habits were common B) to have gotten drunk once C) or to seize power and voluntarily give it up D) moral integrity would be a precise science

If moral habits were common to have gotten drunk once or to seize power and voluntarily give it up, moral integrity would be a precise science are underlined
I dont see any errors, but this is kinda confusing
it's about Answering Identifying Sentence Errors Questions
I think you should do E.
@justjm
OH okay. I'll say that the last sentence 'moral integrity...' has an issue. The sentence is very long and it's difficult to see the structuring, but it's basically an if-example-then structure. The examples are clearly following parallel structure, so I do not see an issue there ( B and C seem fine). But I'm not sure.
which do i select
Well I'd go for D or if not then no change. I'm debating between the two. Maybe @gdeinward can help. At most, go for E. 'then' is not always required.
Im stickin with E. I think thats correct
to have gotten drunk once is written incorrectly in passive voice. Change to have gotten drunk to to get drunk
Well damn sorry bro
