Fossils:
-There are fossils of similar species found on the east coast of South America and the Ivory Coast of Africa. There is slight homologous differentiation which not only proves that the continents were once together, but also a force of evolution that can alter allelic frequencies.
-Shark tooth fossils have been dated using radioactive dating to find the age of the tooth and then is used to compare the evolutionary similarities and differences.

Comparative anatomy :
*Remember you can only compare homologous, not analogous structures*
-The wing of a bat can be compared to that of the human arm, whale fin, and other species. This serves as evidence that they are our common ancestors to some degree, just may be very distant by now.
-Can serve as evidence to adaptive radiation and convergent/divergent evolution. For example, the homology and structural similarity in the finches Darwin saw in his expedition.

Embryology:
-Deuterstomal and Protostomal development. They are the two main forms of embryo development and cellular genesis. We are deuterstomes, where our blastopore forms into an Soup. We can be compared to other deuterstomes. Flies, however, are protostomes. Their mouth forms first.
-We can compare the embryos of a bird to a human, etc, and find that there are some similarities and differences. The more early in the embryo process you go, the more similar the embryos are, but due to cellular differentiation, the embryo grows up to look like something else. It still proves that we have common ancestors.

-Similar species of trees found in completely different continents...how did they migrate? Was it macroevolution? Microevolution? But now the species are widespread in completely different continents.

Molecular Biology
-Polypeptide sequencing can change due to mutations, and overtime, that mutation can accumulate very large in populations. They increase exponentially, and it might lead to speciation. This is a factor to sympatric speciation, along with prezygotic and postzygotic barriers.
-It has lead to the differentiation of cellular mechanisms too. Introns and histones are not present in bacteria, but they are present in Archae and Eukarya.
