A bag of marbles contains 3 yellow marbles, 4 blue marbles, and 8 orange marbles. Which of the following is true of selecting a green marble? Select all that apply. The probability is 7/12 This event is very likely to happen. This event will not happen. The probability is 1. The probability is 0.

12123333333333333333:

There are no green marbles! How would you get one out?

12123333333333333333:

So, do you have any idea what the answers could be?

Enderdude:

I think it's 7/12 of a probability

12123333333333333333:

hmmm...Are you sure?? There is NO green

12123333333333333333:

How would you pick green out?

Enderdude:

I believe combining the colors

12123333333333333333:

How?? ummm idk...maybe but...a greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen marble...so idk. I wouldn't say it is possible...But, go with your guts

Enderdude:

Yea cause there are no greens but im going with it

12123333333333333333:

Okay!

12123333333333333333:

Hope you get it right!

12123333333333333333:

12123333333333333333:

Ok

Uh lol this one made me laugh a bit, there's no green outcome so the event wouldn't happen. Besides, even if you WERE to mix the yellow and blue marbles (not sure how it makes green, it's not light or a color), you do not know if it is mixing in a 3:4 ratio or a 1:1 ratio or a 1:\(n\) ratio. How do you know that 3 blues and 4 yellows make a green, why not 5 yellows xD.

justjm:

If statistics and probability ran this way then I don't really know what to say xD
