You see how the variables are all powers of 1? That's how you know it's linear

\(\sqrt{x}+y=2\) is not linear
\(23x+12y+z+a+b+c=2\) is linear

Just learn how to
1. Reduce a matrix into reduced-row-echelon form
2. Learn how to find the inverse of a matrix
3. Learn how to find the determinant of a 2x2 and 3x3 matrix.

and that'll get you started

messing around with matricies is like actually doing math calculations. They just take a long time
