So you know I was thinking:
Theoretically, a bottomless pit doesnt exist. But, lets just say that there was. Say you fall in, theres no way to get out until you die wich would be days, if not weeks. Or is there? So if someone were to fall in depending on the time, you could tie an object heavier than the person who fell in twice as much at least, if not more depending on if you had been falling for longer to a rope that too was plenty long enough. You would throw that object into the hole, and wait for it to fall past the person. They could catch the rope and either climb or be winched out. ideas?
