There was a loud crash as Bastian’s balled fist came down, swift and hard, connecting with the tabletop. As he argued with Dallas for the past two hour, he had become increasingly furious. The two of them sitting in a room only lit by a single oil lantern, the fresh smell of sea salt never leaving them as they argued, the ship they were aboard swaying ever so slightly through the night. Why was he arguing you might ask, simple. A girl. They were arguing over a girl named Sarah; Sarah was a girl from the hometown where both Bastian and Dallas were raised, they were practically brothers, but recently they started going after each other's throats after they simultaneously fell for Sarah. Their loud bickering soon attracted the attention of the U.S.S. Armada’s Captain.

He was a large burly man with white creeping into his beard and hair. No one knew where he was from, or even his name for that matter. He was never seen with any wife, children, or even a mistress. The door to the cabin the two men where sharing opened with the force of a cannon and the wood creaked as the door slammed into the wall. In a deep, scruffy voice the captain bellowed,
“What is the meaning of this?”

Dallas and Bastian quickly cleaned their act up, not wishing to be punished for fighting over something, last time they were mopping the upper deck for hours on end, everyday of the week. They stood up quickly from the table and straightened out their clothes as they quickly dismissed their spiff and pretended it never happened.
“N-nothing Cap, just a heated debate, nothing as serious as you needing to break it up.”,Dallas commented, a nervous break in his voice. The Captain was known to be a ruthless man,
