How could casualties from fighting in World War I be summed up? Group of answer choices A. They were massive, with hundreds of thousands of troops killed in many battles B. they were light because the weapons weren't very lethal C. they were similar to earlier wars, with glorious battles fought on horseback with swords
World War I was unlike anything the world had ever seen before. While wars before were fought in large pitched battles World War I was fought literally inches at a time while in trenches dug to shield from machine gun fire. This meant that the war was much longer and more bloody than others the world had seen. Based on this what do you think the answer is?
I think A.
A would be the best option out of the ones given.
