Graph a triangle ABC and perform a translation of (x + 4, y − 3) to create triangle A′B′C′. 1. Describe the transformation using words. Make sure you refer to the characteristics and the coordinates. 2. Draw a line through points A and A′ and through points B and B′. What do you notice about the lines you drew? Do you think you would notice the same characteristics if you drew another line through points C and C′? How do you know?

Hello and welcome to Question Cove! Here you will find a great place where everyon is willing to help and always ready to chat

Gdeinward:

so here you must create three random coordinates to create a triangle, and then apply the translation rule,

Gdeinward:

for example translating 3,5 following the rules, you would add 4 to three to get 7 and subtract 3 from 5 to get 2. your new translated coordinat would be 7, 2

laurenr729:

so just add that to some random coordinates and thats it?

Gdeinward:

Well three to be exact, then follow thr rest of the instructions.

laurenr729:

ohh okay i understand it now

laurenr729:

thanks so much :)

Gdeinward:

Your welcome, it was my pleasure ;D
