You are assembling a swing for a playground. The horizontal crossbar that attaches at the midpoint of each pair of legs is 28 inches long. Assuming that the crossbars are parallel to the ground, how far apart will the bottoms of the legs of the swing be when the swing is completely assembled?

answer is 56.
What I did is I multiplied 28 by 2 getting 56. I did this because the cross-bar is 28 inches long and you would assume that the segments of the bar that have to touch the ground have to form a triangle so the base would be 2 times the height. I did the question this is the correct answer.
