Painkillers:

Hi, new here. Just having a huge doubt on this question below. Tyler went to the supermarket to buy food for a food pantry. He has $36, and can carry up to 20 pounds of food in his backpack. Pasta costs $1 for a 1-pound package. Pasta sauce costs $3 for a 1.5 pound jar. Let x = the number of packages of pasta and y = the number of jars of pasta sauce. One package of pasta is the right amount to go with one jar of pasta sauce. What is the best numbers of packages of pasta and jars of pasta sauce to buy for the food pantry? How many packages of pasta? How many jars of pasta sauce? Explain your reasoning.

ATTENTION ! this is important One package of pasta is the right amount to go with one jar of pasta sauce Pasta sauce costs $3 for a 1.5 pound jar. so from this result 3 pound jar of pasta sauce will cost $6 but we know that to one package of pasta is the right amount to go with one jar of pasta sauce so using this we get that to 3 pound jar of pasta sauce correspond 3 package of pasta than 3 pound jar pasta sauce cost $6 so doubled the amount we get 6 pound of pasta sauce will cost $12 but we know that to 6 pound of pasta sauce correspond 6 package of pasta so 6 package of pasta cost $6 $12+$6 = $18 this price doubled we get 2×$18 = $36 how many Tyler has given again that : He has $36, and can carry up to 20 pounds of food in his backpack. @iosangel your opinion please thank you
