Prologue. We all sat at my house, watching a movie, doing a double date like any other Saturday night. My boyfriend Chad was sitting on the couch, his arm around my shoulder as we watched whatever movie was on T.V. Melissa and her boyfriend, Jeff, where sitting on the other couch beside us; and we were all gossiping about things that were going on around the school. The movie we were watching soon ended and we tried to think of something else to do. As I got up from my couch and walked to the window. My wall clock said it was a little past 8 P.M. as I approached the window and noticed the condensation on the interior side of the glass as there was a thin fog outside. I turn and face the group, "We could all go out for a walk, it's still kinda light out." I smile. Melissa looked at me like I got some psychotic mental issue. "Ally, why would we go walking when it is gonna be pitch black in 20 minutes?" I tease her "Scared of the woods? You got your big bad boyfriend there I protect you." I giggle and go upstairs to change, bringing down a flashlight and a light jacket as the rest of the group got together what they wanted to bring. We walk out the front door and start heading down the road. We all talk and forget all about where we are going. At one point I stop and look around. Not recognizing anything around me. Naturally this scared me as I have been living in this town for nearly 14 years."Does anyone know where we are?" I couldn't help the panic that crept in my voice. Jeff teases me, "Who's scared now, I am sure we can just turn around and we will be home before long." At that moment the darkness around us got very ominous. The fog thickened into what looked like a heavy cream and it darkness settled on us all. Through the fog I managed to spot a very dim but faint light. "Guys, what if its a house?" I pointed off in the distance in the direction of the light. "Ally, there is nothing there... What are you talking about." Chat laid his hand on my shoulder, "Are you okay?" I shrug him off and look at my friends "I saw a light, and I am going to go find it, I want to get home." As I walk through the woods, cutting to where I saw the light, it was oddly silent besides my friends footsteps. The leaves wet, the twigs snapping gently from time to time. We soon come out to a clearing with a old run down shack in the middle of it. From the looks it had been built in the late 1800's and looked as if a small breeze would annihilate it, but there it stood. Out of the corner of my I see a small figure, that of an 8 year old girl run behind the house. Hesitantly I start walking in that direction, my friends following, unsure of what was going on. As I reached the back of the house the air seemed to get cooler, there was trash everywhere. Broken lawnmowers, cardboard, paper, fabric and car parts everywhere. I heard a small snap behind me and turn around in time to see a line of perfect white teeth smile, a sharp pain in my neck; and to hear the figure chuckle and it pushed the syringe into my neck. As it pushed the plunger down everything went black. I woke up in a dark room that smelled very earthy. It took a second for my body to fully gain consciousness. The feeling of pins and needles began to spike up my arms and into my hands. It wasn't until now I noticed that there were shackles around wrist; my hands were high above my head cutting the circulation off from my arms. My arms bending back, my arms feeling as if they were attempting to jump free from my sockets. I hung there for what seemed like hours; the pain soon becoming unbearable, I heard a loud knock and a flood on light blinded me. The sudden light forcing me to wince and look away. I heard heavy footsteps fall, one after another, and soon a large shadow was in front of me. As my eyes adjusted to the light level, I saw directly beside me on the ground was a puddle of blood, with something something that resembled uncooked sausage in the middle of it. I looked up to see Chad, hanging by his feet, his stomach split open, as well as his throat. I opened my mouth to scream, but the man was ready. A cloth was quickly shoved in my mouth, cutting off all sound. To my surprise the man talked, his voice oddly soft considering the horrors he has previously committed. "You won't die here, but I cannot allow anyone to find you." I felt my eyes open wide with terror. I was unsure what he wanted to do with me, or what he was going to do with me; and what did he mean, I wasn't going to die here. Did he plan on taking me somewhere else and killing me there. I settled for trying to do as he said, ignoring my dead, mutilated boyfriend hanging from the ceiling not 5 feet away. I tried to stop the tears from welling up in my eyes; and simultaneously began trying to think of a way to escape. Now that my eyes had enough time to adjust to the half light-half dark that was my surroundings. I could make out that he frequently shaved, as all he had on his face was a hint of scruffy facial hair. His jaw bone was sharply cut. He had a deep, piercing set of sea green eyes, of which seemed to read my mind, see deep into my soul. I shut my eyes as quickly as I could. All I knew was that I did not want him looking at me anymore. I heard him shuffle away, that is when I notice the little girl I saw run behind the house come out from behind me, giggling. She has a short, razor sharp knife in her hand. I can’t explain it but instantly, I knew, she killed Chad. I jerked at my restraints, no longer caring about doing as the man wanted. Escape didn’t matter to me anymore. I wanted to kill the girl, then she spoke, with the voice of a horror game. “You should have stayed at home.” Her voice chilled me to my inner core, goosebumps beginning to rise on my skin as she giggled. “If you don’t behave yourself, you will end up the same as your boy-toy.” She smiled, an action that didn’t seem to fit her well. Everything that I knew told me that they were some sort of sick cult. I mean, what else could it possibly have been. It wasn’t until now on my right hand side that both Melissa and Jeff were handing in the same fashion as I was, with shackles on their wrist, however they were both still unconscious, or were they… dead? The child walked out of the direct sunlight, allowing me to get a decent look at her for the first time, she looked like she was more around the age of 13, with what I assume was once an elegant, flowing, white dress, now stained from years of dirt, blood and mud. She walked up to Melissa and slapped her hard. She awoke with a gasp, and started freaking out, the same as me, I had no doubt she was handling this even worse than I was. She went to scream, and the same as me, the man stuffed a cloth into her mouth. The little girl made sure that she had Melissa’s attention before walking over to Jeff, with a fiendish smile across her lips.
