They completely mixed up the functions of CU and ALU in the book and it was throwing me off lol

Technically there usually is an Instruction Decoder for that, but in this context I suppose the CU

Ballery1:

You see where this is going??? Cuz when I hear the word *decode* I’m thinking ALU because it decodes the binary sequences
