@mhchen No I'm confused as hell, but I do know that f(x) and g(x) are meant for substitution, so for each variable you're supposed to put -1 in it's place.

You only know the table values.

The rows are f(x) or g(x)
the columns is x

so if the row is f(x)
and the column is 4
then it's f(4)
