I'm going to on a limb and assume that the "addition" method simply refers to elimination. Simply set up the first equation by multiplying -1 to each term. This would mean that the resulting equation would be -x - 3y = -15. Now add both equations together, and the y values will cancel out, leaving only an x value. So this would be -9x = -27, x = 3. Now plug in 3 for x in any equations, preferably the first equation. By isolating y, you find that y = 4. Now your coordinates are (3,4).
