Fun story (Guess who it is):

When he was young, his father died, so he lived with his mother. One day he came home from school and his mother asked him "What did you learn in school". He was indifferent, and the mother cut up the fabric that took her hours to weave (and their only source of income). She said him wasting a day at school is equal to her wasting a day at work. The boy then fully studied his work everyday. He grew up to become a court counselor for kings.
