peytonbeal:

Which of the following is one way a reader can use context clues to find the meaning of an unknown words? Look the word up in a dictionary. Look for synonyms for the word in a thesaurus. Pay attention to the words that come directly before and after the unknown word. Skip over the unknown word and come back to it at the end of the passage.

darkknight:

what do you think

darkknight:

well not the dictionary because it doesn't have anything to do with reading the context

PinkGlitterz:

My answer would be c. You can always use a dictionary to find the word, as its very helpful, but the question inquires about CONTEXT CLUES. You'll need to pay attention to the surrounding words throughout he paragraph and sentence to find the unknown word.
