Shania is making a scale diagram of the badminton court at the community center. She uses a scale of 1 centimeter to 0.5 meter to draw the scale diagram. If the scale length of the badminton court is 26.8 centimeters and the scale width is 12.2 centimeters, what is the actual area of the court?

jhonyy9:

little help given she use a scale of 1 cm to 0,5 m so from this result 2 cm mean 1 m given the scale length = 26,8 cm so this divide by 2 and will get the length in meter the same the scale width = 12,2 cm so this divide by 2 and will get the width in meter hope you know formula for area of a rectangle and from these above wrote you can solve easy the problem

jhonyy9:
