"Come along, now. I won't amputate it. Come along. Don't be a baby." I hope you will not amputate my arm. Do not amputate my arm. Does my arm need to be amputated? I think my arm does need amputation.

The way he is saying to not amputate his arm, the tone sounds like he is confused, so in modern-day it would most likely be a question
