mhchen:

Does chicken get harder the longer you cook it? Even if it's boiled? Is there any method that makes chicken more tender the longer you cook it?

mhchen:

I boiled a chicken and it was so hard to chew so I boiled it longer and like...well it's STILL HARD TO CHEW

Elsa213:

Probably old or burnt e.e

mhchen:

Nah it's fresh chicken. You can't burn a chicken if you boil it and it tasted hard like yarn. And the next day I used the same chicken, so it's older, I cooked it without water, THAT'S how you burn something, but I left it on for a short few minutes, and it was a lot more tender.

Adovbush:

smoke it :P

Hoodmemes:

If it's still hard. U prolly should find a different type of chicken that is most likely to be soft and rippable when chewing it and tearing it with your hands. Or boil it for a longer amount of time and check it constantly.
