I need help writing two essays. "Imagine that you are serving in the British army under George Washington and Gen. Braddock. Describe the British defeat at Fort Duquesne. Describe the battle as a British defeat. The year is 1775. Include the outcome for Braddock and Washington. Be specific (Two paragraphs) Now the year is 1759 and you are now serving under British General Wolfe at the Battle of Quebec. Describe the battle as a British victory. In each battle, describe yourself as a war hero, performing a type of valiant and brave deed. (Two paragraphs)
If this isn't for a History class, I would have a little fun with it and be creative. Pull up the respective Britannica/History.com articles for each person mentioned and the battles, then weave the details into a recollection with your own personal touch. Since you're a soldier for both essays, perhaps provide a focus on the relatively poor conditions that soldiers were in. They waged long battles being tired and quite dirty. Perhaps in the first battle you have a friend name Tom, and perhaps in the second battle you're thinking of your beloved, Elizabeth, back at home (whilst you perform your valiant deed).
Thank you.
