How do u testify in court! I was sexually abused and I am scared! I finally told my mom and dad but i am just really scared! I need opinions!

You guys please stop making your comments, I don't think most of you know what you're talking about (no offense)
You don't have to plan anything @LOnely44 , Im going to assume you're a minor so they would just ask you questions and ask you to explain what happened. All you have to do is be able to talk, its not as hard as it sounds

Okay so on a more serious side, although I do not know a single iota about legal procedures, you could say before testifying that you are heavily distressed and simply put, scared. It's understandable in these situations and it of course will not be used against you

ur laywer should explain everything they need u to do. there is no need to be scared.

They will generally expect you to be scared and under a lot of stress. I can understand the fear but you telling what happened is the best way to handle and eventually get over things. You can do this <3
Just talk, it all comes out once you start talking
