tyriverss:

Write the equation 8y=316x−0.5 in standard form. Identify A, B, and C.

darkknight:

get the EQn into standard form first, do u know what that is

darkknight:

Standard form is Ax+By=C

kittybasil:

standard form: \(Ax+By=C\) you have the \(x\) and \(y\) on different sides. the easiest method would be to move the \(x\) over to the same side as the \(y\), because it's only one step:\[\color{red}{-316x}+8y=\cancel{316x\color{red}{-316x}}-0.5\]\[-316x+8y=-0.5\]and so your result is:\[\huge{\color{lightgreen}{-316x+8y=-0.5}}\]

darkknight:

kitty, what math r u in

kittybasil:

I go by Kitt, but I'm in college. 😂

darkknight:

ok kitt, what math r u in? like calc?
