YasmineBadillo:

Students and Taylor physical class conducted an experience by dropping a basketball for me height of 40 feet and then recording the balls height after each bounce the ball cling to a height of 20 feet after the 1st pound and the 10 feet after the second bounce if this pattern continues how many feet high will the ball climb after the third bounce and put the answer only the numbers

darkknight:

Well you know that your initial height is 40. But you don't have to have an equation because the problem doesn't require it and you only have to calculate the 3rd bounce, so it won't take much time. Well, from 40 to 20 to 10... do you see a trend?

darkknight:

well it is halving, can you find the height after the 3rd bounce?

darkknight:

r u good with this question?

Eiwoh2:

I think the user most likely has gotten his answer and won't return, but great help method. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @darkknight r u good with this question? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\)
