darkknight:

@therobin

darkknight:

Option B doesn't apply any emotional appeal, its just a fact

darkknight:

"Appeals to emotion are intended to draw inward feelings such as fear, pity, and joy from the recipient of the information with the end goal of convincing them that the statements being presented in the fallacious argument are true, or vice-versa."

darkknight:

that is what emotional appeal is

Kirsten123:

Which one do you think it is?

RyeBread1:

im going with c

darkknight:

why? ^

darkknight:

what do you think it is kirsten

Kirsten123:

I’m not sure it’s confusing

RyeBread1:

bc it seems persuasive to me

Kirsten123:

It’s suppose to give a guilt trip like to make people feel bad

darkknight:

D is just a random fact, not D

Kirsten123:

Guessing either c or a

darkknight:

Yeah, I guess it might be C

RyeBread1:

it does give a guilt trip, it makes them feel bad for ruining the earth

darkknight:

A is barely using emotional appeal

darkknight:

no fact to that

darkknight:

ur welcome

Kirsten123:

Anyone else have a answer?

Kirsten123:

You think it’s a?

darkknight:

It is C

Kirsten123:

Ohh ok so go with c right

darkknight:

I am the darkknight

RyeBread1:

yea C

Kirsten123:

Thanks guys

RyeBread1:

mhm

Kirsten123:

Someone said A on Brainly

RyeBread1:

well we think its C you got two people that say that

darkknight:

I am the darkknight

darkknight:

actually nvm. I think it is A

darkknight:

@justus

RyeBread1:

its not that persuasive

darkknight:

well nor is C really

darkknight:

@justus

RyeBread1:

its more persuasive than A

darkknight:

A is stating what we need to do. this fits the definition of "Appeals to emotion are intended to draw inward feelings such as fear, pity, and joy from the recipient of the information with the end goal of convincing them that the statements being presented in the fallacious argument are true, or vice-versa."

darkknight:

So it might be A, let justus look over it

RyeBread1:

k

justus:

I'm thinking either A or D. The other two are just stating facts about the forest.

justus:

I'd lean more towards A, good luck.

darkknight:

^

TheRobin:

I know it's a little late but it would probably be A. The other's are providing facts and are informative whilst A is using emotion by saying that it is "our" duty to take care of "our" rain forests, implying something similar as taking care of a pet. I could be wrong but I'm a little late to the question anyways so it doesn't matter.

RyeBread1:

lol its ok

RyeBread1:

at least you tried
