Which conditional statement has a converse that is true? (Points : 1) If I am biking, then I am moving. If I am in the desert, then I am thirsty. If I am running, then I am exercising. If I am awake, then I am studying.

kittybasil:

Converse refers to turning the sentence around. Basically "If A, then B" would have a converse saying "If B, then A" Based on this, which one would have a converse that is true? Here's the list if you make everything converse.

  • If I am moving, I am biking
  • If I am thirsty, I am in the desert
  • If I am exercising, then I am running
  • If I am studying, I am awake

kittybasil:

Which one out of that list would still be true?

alanadsmith:

I think If I am studying, I am awake

kittybasil:

Yes :)

alanadsmith:

thankyou!

kittybasil:

Although I'm not sure why this is in math 😬

kittybasil:

Are they trying to teach you how to use converses in math?

alanadsmith:

Im taking it for a math quiz

alanadsmith:

kittybasil:

Ah, I see

kittybasil:

Good luck! :)
