a 20.0 Ohm and 60.0 Ohm resistor are connected in series to a 9.00 V battery. what is the voltage drop across the 20.0 Ohm resistor? (Hint: how much current flows across it?)(unit=v)

justjm:

Hi, you must use Ohm's law \(V=IR\) wherein V=voltage, I=current, and R=resistance Since this is a series, you must find the total resistance \(R_{eq}=\sum~R_n=R_1+R_2+R_3...\) Once you find the total resistance plug it into V=IR
