Triangle ABC is a right triangle. Point D is the midpoint of side AB and point E is the midpoint of side AC. The measure of angle ADE is 68°. Triangle ABC with segment DE. Angle ADE measures 68 degrees. The following flowchart with missing statements and reasons proves that the measure of angle ECB is 22°: Statement, Measure of angle ADE is 68 degrees , Reason, Given, and Statement, Measure of angle DAE is 90 degrees, Reason, Defin Which statement and reason can be used to fill in the numbered blank spaces?

What I've tried to illustrate is that triangles ABC and ADE are similar to each other, since their side lengths have a ratio of 2:1. This means that the angle measures are also similar; they should be equal. For instance, ECB (which is the same as ACB btw) is equal to AED. In the same way, angle ADE is equal to angle ABC. Keep in mind that all the angles in a triangle must add up to 180 and that a right angle means 90 degrees. I'm sure you can put the rest together.
