Why are you writing this story? Is it for fun or for a class?

If it's for a class, then what are the full instructions? Was there a rubric given? What exactly are you supposed to accomplish by writing this story?
Perhaps, it doesn't even have to necessarily be about a girl who died from love? For example, the topic might have been broader but now you're stuck because you narrowed it down too much.
