i need to highlight annual salary and computer skills and make them in a scatter plot but when I try highlighting annual salary it won't let me highlight computer skills at the same time

Maybe hold down shift and click on the two columns, but how I would make scatter plots was to go to charts and select scatterplot, and then I'd edit what columns I would choose for my x-axis and y-axis from there instead of highlighting and then making the graph
