Know all properties of log (and ln), know the change of base formula, and remember that log is the inverse function of exponential functions. Also helpful to know special cases like log1 = 0 or ln e=1

if you understand the intuition behind using logarithms then it might make things easier, so look that up

Logarithms have a few properties; you could try writing proofs for them to get a good grasp of it. If you know the properties next you're going to need some problem solving practise
