http://prntscr.com/s2sw1c Would this be 90?

Nicole:

@silvernight269

darkknight:

Okay, so we know the angle of the minor arc, which is 30 degrees. We also know that the entire circle is 360 degrees. If you look, arc BAC is just the whole circle minus BC

silvernight269:

and that a circle is always 360 degrees. right?

Nicole:

Yes

darkknight:

arc BAC is 360 and arc BC is 30. Based off that, what do you think arc BAC is?

Nicole:

But you said BAC is 360

Nicole:

A whole circle is 360, arc BAC isnt the whole circle am I right? Im probably wrong

silvernight269:

Think of it like this. BAC plus BC equal to 360

Nicole:

So 330

Nicole:

Thats if we subtracted 360 by 30

silvernight269:

Yep

Nicole:

If arc BC was more to half of BAC it would be 90 am I correct?

silvernight269:

if Point B was parallel to Point D then yes. CD would a 90-degree angle

Nicole:

Got it okay that makes sense. Im going to open a new post

darkknight:

Sorry, I was gone for a while

Nicole:

Its okay thanks for your input
