The hypo is a @darkknight
Yes, the hypo and the adjacent side of the angle is what we have. The trig ratio that defines this situation is cos. cos = adj/hypo. cos35 = 5/a acos35 = 5 a = 5/cos35. Make sure calculator is in degrees!
