Hi there! Welcome to QuestionCove! To find the perimeter, you have to add all sides up. That's what perimeter is. So what are the sides they gave us?

its in the image 16x, 9x and 11, 8x

Exactly so we have to add the like terms

TheSmartOne:

So an example 6 and 15y are not like terms and you can't simplify that anymore 4y and 12y are like terms. They both have that y. So you can add them together 4+12= 16 So 4y+ 12y = 16y So similarly can you add the side values from your question and simplify it?
